Understanding Indiana's Underage DUI Laws
It is legal for individuals 21 years of age and older to operate a vehicle in Indiana so long as their blood alcohol content (BAC) is under .08. Those under the age of 21, however, can be arrested and charged with a DUI if their BAC reaches .02. The penalties for a first conviction could include:
